Session Ticket use clarification.
You'd think it would be simple, but no. There are actually four official sessions of the Jazz Fest.  They are:

Sunday, August 5, 2007 - Noon to 5:00 (or so)

You would need a single session ticket to be admitted to any of these session. There are three stages playing simultaneously and a session ticket allows you to move freely between them without having to pay again during that session.

Now the good news: You do not need to decide which session(s) you want to attend when you order.  Any session ticket purchased will admit you to any of the sessions (the only exception is the all-day Saturday $28 ticket which must be specified with advance orders).

More good news: Many sessions such as Parade, After-hours Jam Sessions, Jazz Liturgies and Jazz Brunches do not require a ticket.  (Of course, if you attend a brunch, you need to purchase the brunch from the host restaurant.)

Pre-fest Price Deadlines:
Only Session tickets are discounted prior to the fest.  Once the fest begins the price goes up to $17.  The last chance to buy Session tickets at the advance price of $15 is at the Pre-Fest concert event Thursday, August 2, 2007.  Ticket orders by mail received as late as Thursday, August 3rd , will be honored at the pre-fest price.

How to Order Tickets:
To order tickets by mail, use this printable Order Form. (Perhaps we should mention that this is not a form you fill out on-line. Just open it and print it out on your home printer. Then, fill it out by hand and mail it with a bunch of money, the deed to your house and your revised will which includes a generous bequest to the Jazz Society - (pause for breath) to Jazz Fest 2007, P.O. Box 3081, La Crosse, WI  54602-3081.)

To order tickets by phone using Visa or M/C Card, call Ed Miner at 608-788-0440.
